CulturArt Exchange
Art Director and Instructor - Educational program
Tuna Alta, Bogotá, Colombia, 2015
Vancouver’s art biennial invited Bogotá’s Liceo Boston School to create a project under the theme “Open Borders – Crossroads.” Guided by this theme, I was invited to design a six-month curriculum. Through territorial research, I proposed the revitalization of an abandoned community space through a series of art workshops. The students successfully transformed this undesirable and unsafe area into a vibrant, functional space that bridged the gap between the school and the neighborhood, and that today is used for cultural and community gatherings.
